Micro Mini scale Andalusian stallion and dancing lady.

The Flamenco is deeply woven into Spanish culture, and when this dance is performed in perfect harmony with a highly trained Andalusian horse and a skilled rider, the heart, passion and authenticity, or "Duende" of this unique artform become truly magical!

I've named this horse "Flamenco" as he channels this duende to perfection, he is a highest level Doma Vaquera (Spanish dressage) stallion, perfectly collected and gracefully executing a sublime canter pirouette in harmony with "Carmen", a beautiful and passionate Spanish dancer as they perform the Flamenco in perfect musical harmony.

Flamenco (the horse) is based on the Andalusian breed, also known as the Pure Spanish Horse or PRE (Pura Raza Española), but he could equally be shown as a Lusitano, Carthusian (Cartujanos), Lipizzaner or any similar Iberian type.

Carmen (the dancer) is wearing the traditional "traje de flamenca" (Flamenco Outfit), which consist of the iconic multi-layered ruffled dress (with ruffles starting above the thigh, allowing freedom for dancing!), high heeled dancing shoes and elaborate earrings that are swinging as she moves. Carmen has her hair tied into a traditional bun, adorned with two large roses.  The outfit sometimes includes an embroidered silk shawl or a fan, necklaces and bangles - feel free to add those details to your model if you're feeling brave!

Production: This set is being produced as a British / US collaboration, with the horse being moulded and cast in pewter by a well proven US-based casting company, and the dancer being produced here in the UK by me as a 3D printed resin model.  The resin I am using for her is super-tough which allows for her delicate fingers and the lightweight fabric of her dress to survive the production process, resulting in a proportionally extremely robust model considering the super-fine features.

Models are supplied very clean, but may still require some basic prep-work prior to priming and painting.  As Carmen has such fine features, a black (thinner) primer is recommended.

Lead times / Edition Info:  Flamenco is limited to 200 copies max.  Carmen is quite challenging to produce so will be offered in much more limited numbers.  Models are shipped from the UK.
