These models are raw (and a bit dusty!).  These copies are good, but just didn't quite meet my quality standards to be used int he main edition.  Usually this is due to a few layer lines remaining visible on the wings (I don't even know if these would show once painted, they're subtle!) which may be solved with a coat of gloss sealer prior to painting.  A fine nail file, especially sponge-backed, is a great way clean up the wing edges and then a rotary tool or bit of fine sanding will take care of the rest.
