As the post title suggests, sales are now officially ON HOLD for Capriole as his edition is technically SOLD OUT.
"Technically SOLD OUT" means that all 160 copies from the two mould edition have now been sold, however, fingers crossed Barry will be able to squeeze a couple more copies from the moulds which I will be able to offer later on once they have been cast out.
An ENORMOUS THANK YOU to everyone that has chosen to add a Capriole to their collection, or adorn one with their finishwork. Obviously I'm utterly thrilled with how his edition has gone, he has been super-popular (which has lead to long delivery times which I am sorry for and will take measures to avoid next time!) and I can't wait to see more painted copies popping up around the world. The few painted copies out there are doing well in the Live Shows with rosettes and trophies becoming regular occurrences.
I'm already working on a Pegasus version of the model which will be release with the third and final mould (not for a while yet though I'm afraid as I don't work very fast these days!). I will try to make the model an optional Pegasus so that he can be supplied with or without wings, though this is already giving me a challenge as his centre of gravity will vastly change when he has his wings added. Anyway, that's my puzzle to work out and I'm looking forward to producing more wings, as I really enjoyed creating the wings for the Union Jack Pegasus edition.
Oops - I forgot to post an update letting you know that copies 84-111 shipped out on 2nd March. Many have already landed in their new homes, but please allow up to three weeks for international orders as shipping times have been quite variable lately.
