Please note - I do not offer this sort of sculpting as a service, these are projects that were completed for friends which I would just like to share.
May 2017 - Chris and Claire's Wedding Cake Topper
Claire is Fiona's sister (see Jim and Fiona's section below). Chris and Claire were getting married in July 2017 and I was honoured to be asked by Fiona to produce a wedding cake topper for their wedding, as a gift from Fiona to her sister.
Having been five years since I made the previous one, I was worried that I'd forgotten all I'd learnt, so I spent many evenings re-discovering the fascinating world of polymer clay flowers and construction!
The brief was loose, I was given photos of the couple and Claire's dress and hair plans, I was told that Chris's suit would be blue and he was wearing a lilac shirt. The couple love gardening so we agreed on the wheelbarrow theme. Claire was having sunflowers and roses in her bouquet. I did have to make a few assumptions on the flowers, but with Claire's dress I had a ball adding in all the little details, it really was a gorgeous dress!
Here are some photos of the finished product:

September 2012 - Jim and Fiona Wedding Cake Topper
Jim and Fiona are friends of ours, their wedding was on 14th September 2012. They asked me if I'd consider making a Wedding Cake Topper for their big day. I've never made one before so was a little apprehensive, but after a little experimentation and modelling from their photos things started to develop into this sweet little set up. Jim and Fiona honeymooned on a canal boat, hence the scene. I was pretty pleased with the result. I don't generally offer this style of modelling as a service so this was a refreshing change from the norm.
This set of models was sculpted using various Polymer clays (Fimo, Sculpey etc), with wire and pearl details to the bouquet of flowers Fiona is holding. The only painted detail was the white panels on each side of the boat.
Check out the photos below, photos of the "real" Jim and Fiona can be found at the end.
