Albert and Victoria are a pair of medallions that fit together in a beautiful embrace. The pair fit together to form a heart shape, they are truly besotted with each other and make a very romantic piece.
The medallions are cast separately and can be cast in a matching pair, or in a "pic'n'mix" style.
Priced at £25 per set they make a lovely gift for your sweetheart or to a cherished friend. They can also be ordered via the Sales page.

Casting Options:

White Resin:
These copies are supplied in unpainted white resin; Made by SMooth-On, it is the same resin that most other Artist Resin model horses are made from.
As with all Artist Resins, they require washing and prepping before painting.

Pigmented resin:
These copies are made from the same resin as white copies, but with an added colour pigment (colour shown = black). They can be painted just the same as the white copies.

Split Finish:
This is a labour-intensive method of casting models where the resin is painted into the mould in layers. The finished effect can be quite beautiful, as with this pair which are a mix of polished cold-cast aluminium and black pearl.

Water-Clear resin:
This is the only type of resin that cannot be painted, purely because it remains more flexible than other resins and therefore might cause the paint to flake if flexed once the paint is dry.

Pearl Casts:
These copies are cast a different grade of Smooth-Cast resin but can be painted after washing and prepping. I have well over 100 pearl pigments which can be mixed to give a limitless variety of colours and hues. Some are very sparkly, some are more subtle.
They may have a smoother finish to them requiring a light scrub to give them a sufficient "tooth" for the paint to adhere to.

Wine Gum Casts:
These copies are cast using the same Smooth-Cast resin that the Pearl Casts are made from. I have an array of pigments that can be used to create these models in standard colours and fluorescent colours too!
